This shoot was extra awesome for us because Jennifer and Ryan are no strangers! We shot this session at a nature center in Long Beach. It’s one of those hidden finds that feels like it’s miles and miles away from the city. There are tons of beautiful trees, a lake, and lots of birds and turtles around. The weather was just about perfect as well. We finished up their session at a nearby park.
I am sure you will agree with me when I say that this is a truly beautiful family on many levels. The closeness they have is uncanny, and Will and Casie are incredibly good parents. I cannot say enough about their daughters who where so much fun, so polite and well mannered. The girls were a bit shy at first but warmed up to Sara and I rather quickly.
We had the pleasure of spending a quiet Saturday afternoon in a park with Tami, Tara and Leo. Aren’t they a gorgeous family?
We LOVE small intimate weddings and this one was no exception. Surrounded by family and the closest of friends Lorri and Will exchanged vows on March 12th at Featherly Regional Park in the Anaheim Hills.
Yes, it snowed in Los Angeles. Some say it was sleet, some say graupel. Having lived in Southern California my entire life, I don’t care what it was, technically. I say if it looks like snow, falls like snow, and sticks like snow, it must be snow!
Kurt and Gia wanted to have part of their engagement session with these vintage street lights at night.
These lights were so beautiful. And Kurt and Gia were glowing!
