Please allow me to introduce you to these lovely ladies and their awesome pups! Angie (she’s the one with the reddish brown hair and the purple shirt) and Veronica (she’s the one with the blonde hair wearing glasses) are one of the most down to earth and happy couples we’ve had the pleasure of photographing. London is their five year old Beagle, and Bennie is their four year old Chihuahua.

Some fun facts about Angie and Veronica:

Angie and Veronica went to high school together. They found each other nine years after graduation on Facebook.

We photographed this session the day that Angie and Veronica legally became domestic partners. We were very honored.

They are trying to have a baby!

This was one of those sessions that just fell into place perfectly and almost effortlessly. Angie and Veronica had the location picked out. It’s one of their favorite spots in Malibu just into Ventura County. It really is one of the most gorgeous and secluded beach areas we’ve seen in Southern California. The drive out  from Los Angeles was so gorgeous and relaxing. It was overcast with the sun trying to make its way through, so the light was absolutely gorgeous! It started raining on our way home but not a drop during this session.

London and Bennie were loving the beach but wanted to have nothing to do with us! London wanted to explore every inch of that beach but she was patient long enough to let us get a few shots of her with her moms! Poor little Bennie almost got taken out by a wave (I don’t think he knows he’s a little guy) but got right back up!
