On a recent trip to Hood River, Oregon I was asked to photograph these pups. They are so adorable I couldn’t refuse.
Meet Emmy Lou. She’s the little Cairn terrier on the rug eyeballing the camera. She may be small, but she is fierce. She likes to sing and howl with Sam. She also likes to have her tummy scratched and isn’t shy about it!
Then meet Roast Beef. He’s Emmy Lou’s brother. He’s a bit timid and skiddish, but he’s such a sweet little guy. He sort of keeps to himself and he blinks a lot.
I love the way Roast Beef lays on his back legs. It’s so funny. I can’t imagine how that could possibly be comfortable.
Finally meet Sam. Sam is a Labrador/Pointer mix. He is a rescue dog so he loves to please his parents. He also loves to play with other dogs, no matter their size. He can be a little intimidating to the little ones, because he’s such a big guy. He’s so gentle and sweet though! He loves to sing and howl with Emmy Lou. He also loves to play in the lake, but it was a cold and rainy day. He was a little sad and restless having to stay inside all day.
